What's New in Update 0.5
Get ready for less tapping, less scrolling, and more hoopin'! This update is delivering card management improvements for smoother, quicker card upgrades and fewer headaches when managing a growing card collection. Oh, and can’t forget the clutch new way to recover a missed Daily Login. Let’s dive in.
Upgrading Cards - The Classic vs the New MVP
Upgrading cards just got a huge assist. You can now choose between:
Manual Upgrading
The classic is here to stay and is the same as before… total control with every card selected by hand.
Auto Upgrading
If you want the game to do the heavy lifting, auto-upgrading is here to carry the team as the new MVP.
Once you choose a target card, you can select the star rank you want to reach, up to max star rank of five stars. Under the hood, a brand-new smart algorithm will find the most efficient combo of cards to get you there.
New Filters for Smarter Selection
You’ll now see six filters that let you control exactly which cards are eligible for upgrading:
Duplicates Only - Shows only duplicate cards.
No Set Cards - Avoids at least one copy of a card that is needed for an incomplete set.
No Rewind - Hides all Rewind cards.
Foundation Only - Surfaces only Foundation cards.
Single Copy Only - Shows only cards where you have exactly one copy across all star ranks.
Unleveled Only - Filters down to only unleveled cards.
Toggle these on and off to shape your upgrading strategy however you want.
The right side of the screen will auto-fill with cards eligible for the upgrade based on your filters. The algorithm follows a clear priority system so you always know what’s happening:
Can the selected cards reach your chosen star rank? That’s the #1 rule.
Duplicates come first. No more sacrificing valuable solos.
Lower-PWR cards get used before stronger ones.
Locked cards are never used.
If the game can’t find a valid way to hit your chosen star rank, the Upgrade button will gray out and you’ll see a tooltip explaining, “Star Upgrade Not Possible. We could not find a way to achieve Star Level X with the cards you have selected. Try changing the filters.”
When everything does line up, hitting Upgrade will pop a confirmation box, “Are you sure you want to use all those cards for the upgrade?” If you’re a speed demon, you can check the, “Don’t Show Again” message.
Annnnd, just like that, upgrade approved. Star rank boosted. Easy.
Card Inventory Management
The “My Cards” section has officially leveled up with the ability to Merge Duplicates. This is a big one, so hang on!
At the top of “My Cards”, you’ll see a “Merge Duplicates” button, complete with a number showing how many duplicates are ready and waiting. Tap it, and you’ll see all duplicate cards that match your active filters. When merging duplicates, the filtered cards will be merged to create as many Max Star cards as possible.
With the many filters available, you’re able to fine-tune and be in total control of exactly which duplicate cards you want to merge, instantly clearing up card inventory space!
Recover a Missed Day
We all get busy. Schedules get wild. Life happens. In this update, we’re giving you a clutch way to protect your Daily Login Streak.
When you open your Daily Login calendar:
Today’s date will auto-check like normal.
If you missed a day, you’ll now see it circled in red, marking it as recoverable.
Below the calendar, a new button appears: “Recover Day. Watch Ad.”
Tap it, watch an ad, and when it ends, that previously missed red circle turns into a green checkmark. Day recovered. Streak saved.
After recovering a day, you’ll see a 24-hour cooldown timer appear above the button, showing when you can recover again.
