Small But Mighty: New Timer & Protect the Paint

This one’s a bit of a quick hitter - think of it as a perfect fast break. Let’s get right into what’s coming in our next update.

Protect the Paint

Introducing Protect the Paint, where speed and strategy meet big rewards!

Here’s how it works:

• Choose your Paths on the Court

• Hit ‘Run Play’ and watch Reward Icons fill up

• Nail a match? You collect those rewards immediately

Want to maximize your rewards? Take control by locking in zones or adding more Paths.

Underdogs Theme

Some players are born into the spotlight, while others have to scratch, claw, and hustle their way in. The Underdogs theme celebrates those who beat the odds and carved out a place in basketball history.

We’re talking about players like Scottie Pippen, who came from an unheralded college program and still became a Hall of Famer. Kevin Garnett, who bypassed college altogether to dominate straight out of high school.

And the grind doesn’t stop there– current players like Austin Reaves, Fred VanVleet, Lauri Markkanen, and Jonas Valančiūnas represent that same spirit of perseverance.

Their journeys to the league weren’t traditional, but their impact is undeniable– and now they’re getting their moment in NBA 2K Mobile.

Server Maintenance Timer

No more guessing or double-checking Twitter to see when the game’s going down for maintenance. We’ve added a persistent countdown timer on the main menu. You’ll see exactly how long you have before servers close up for updates. That means more time for more draft pulls, lineup tweaks, or one more Rewind run before the break.

Everything Else

• Bug fixes, polish, and small tweaks to keep everything running smoothly

• Think Summer’s almost over? Don’t pack up your summer gear just yet, we’re just getting warmed up.
